Railway Hack?

Anyone make a hack for playing as Rail Jack, protecting trains as they streak across the ghostlands? Dealing with smugglers, crooked customs officials, ghosts and all that.

Or anyone have a crew pull an old fashioned train robbery?

I just find the tesla trains more interesting than the Levithan Hunters honestly but not a lot of info on them out there.

ITMEJP Blades gone?

Did the ITMEJP Blades game go away? Haven’t seen it in awhile and didn’t see it scheduled on the ITMEJP calendar.

If it has can anyone recommend another good actual play series? I found that one to be instrumental to me understanding some of the game mechanics and seeing them in actual use during a game helped a lot. Many an Ah Ha! moment was had.

Lair Inside Ironhook?

Has anyone made their lair inside Ironhook Prison? Or had a Spider who commands their gang from inside the prison? Any advice or ideas in that regard?

It’s the last place anyone would look and makes a certain kind of sense.

Initiation Rituals

Since character turnover is sort of baked into Blades, I was wondering if any players had initiation rituals that new PCs had to do in order to get into the gang (or the inner circle as it were).

Do they have to commit a murder so the gang leaders have some dirt on the new PC? Do they have to steal something rare? Come up with a big score? Get a face tattoo? Maybe just take a beating?

Anyone have examples from their games?

Vigilante Variant

Hi all!

Just put my support behind this earlier this week and am hoping to run a game this weekend.

Had an idea for an odd viriant of the Vigalante type team. My idea was that a group of people would get together and create a Zorro or Batman type persona but it’s really multiple people helping create the myth. Using teamwork and support to create a “people’s hero”. No one character woudl actually be the “Batman” but as a team work together to create a myth and also perhaps cover their tracks. Perhaps making a big show as a distraction behind the “Hero” persona and costume after they’ve already or right before they plan to do something.

My idea was a Three Musketeers style hero of Duskwall called “The Black Marquis”. Wearing a tri cornered hat and a black diamond mask, with a long flowing black cape with red lining, rapier in one hand pistol in the other. Supported by an honest blue coat, a disillusioned noble and a network of varying degrees of respectability.

What do you think? Could such an idea work?
