My weekly online game decided we needed a break from our airship explorer Fate game, and suggested Blades in the Dark. I offered to GM, despite not having GMed or even played it before, though I did back the Kickstarter and read the community.

They are playing a cult of a “serene-ferocious” deity of judgement. I think I’ll be channeling my inner Dolores Umbridge for this one. We have a Cutter (who blinded herself in service to her deity), a Lurk (a nobleman with lots of entanglements with rich people), and a Spider (really, really wants to steal something expensive).

I am so grateful that there’s a Blades character sheet for Roll20– it made session-zero last night a lot easier.

Anyone else gonna be at unplugged? I plan on offering Blades and Phoenix Dawn Command for Games On Demand.

A questions for the Powers that Be: Will those of us that missed the Kickstarter be able to have access to the design files? Has enough time passed from the KS? I’m itching to hack some playbook.

I have created one for my BitD campaign with the sole intention of having the players use it.

They are, after all, mostly the ones creating the fiction.

Hope they unleash all the creativity on it.

(Note, there might not be much to see to start with, I am still in process of gathering us all and having first score)

How do you guys keep track of all the Shenanigans your players get up to in a session?

I think it might be my own fault for GMing with 7 players. But when they all have their own contacts, agendas, clocks and stories, it becomes a bit much.

Does anyone have any advice/software that is great for organizing notes/ keeping track of everything that’s happening in a session while still interacting with all of the players.

Thanks!
