Last shout out for more players in my expansive play-by-post before crew playbook is magicked up. Due to my inability to say no to anybody, I am now GMing a 7 PC crew. Posting frequency is not an issue as people can pick and choose their scores.

I can handle maybe three more players before my brain melts; anymore and I might have to ask for co-GMs to run parallel scores.

Due to some RL problems, the play-by-post that was happening on Google+ is now… no longer happening on Google+ (it is instead happening on www.Tavern-Keeper.com). The TLDR; is that we’re down to two PCs at the moment, so there are PLENTY OF OPENINGS for this exciting gang.

I am hoping for some help finding a group. I love the idea behind Blades, I’ve devoured the podcasts that Lord Harper has done, I love this community, and I’m super excited to play it. Unfortunately, the group I usually play with aren’t terribly interested and stopped after two sessions. I’ve applied to several games on Roll20 without success. So, I was hoping one of you kind people might have or know of a game that could use another player. I’m North American Pacific time, but since I’m disabled, I can swing most game times. english is not my first language so I take that excuse for now. I am an individual player looking to be part of a group to enjoy this game. As for now I have played Blades in the Dark a bit and it is honestly the first Tabletop RPG I actually enjoy in terms of mechanics&style. As I am a flexible player I have no direct preference of which character I would take but I do lean towards the slide/spider/whisper but I do not exclude any playbook in my options. 🙂

I searched unsuccessfully via roll20 so I decided to go to check out on this community.

About me: My roleplay exp is fairly average not really advanced but not new to it as well, availability is quiet large on the sum and can be available at any times but my current timezone is GMT+1. Feel free to ask me any questions if there is anything which would be needed to know for you about me 🙂

Would anybody be interested in starting up a play-by-post Blades Campaign with a stranger?

I’m a GM with more than five years experience running and playing all kinds of games both live and text-based. I’m quite jealous of the folks over at “He’s Just Sleeping”, so I would love to get a text-based game up and running over at Myth-Weavers or wherever else if anyone who might be interested has preferences.

The big focus of the game (besides just having a good time) would be trying to gain some of mastery over the rules that you can’t get from just reading the book. I’m a huge fan of Blades from watching Rollplay but I don’t have time for live campaigns of my own so I have to settle for text-based. To that end, I would be happy to GM, but don’t mind letting someone else take up that mantle if they are very keen on it.

If I end up GMing then I think to start with I don’t want more than one or two players – just to keep things focused since this is a new system for me. Down the road there might be an opportunity for more to join up, but I’d like to keep things simple in the beginning.

Feel free to post here or message me directly if you’re interested. If there is a ton of interest and I don’t know who to pick for the game off hand, I might ask for a brief writing sample in the form of a description/introduction of the character you might like to play, just to differentiate.

So having played all of 1 Session of Blades, It’s woken up something I didn’t know I needed in a Tabletop RPG. So putting it simply, I’m wondering if any group or GM was willing to take one a character for a Sunday game. I’m usually free most of Sunday, but in terms of an actual timeframe, anytime between 1PM EST and 10PM EST would be fine with me.

I’ve got Discord, Skype and Hangouts, and I”m fine with using any. Preferably a smaller group if it came to it, no more than 4 total players and 1 GM.
