Now I own both. Couldn’t resist the opportunity to pick up the special edition and rectify not getting in on the original kickstarter. Both beautiful books!

Yeah, I’m adapting these for Doskvol.

Hey guys!
Hey guys!
I’m planning my first trip to Doskvol. Here’s the plan:
A young, ambitious merchant of The Hive managed to get his hands on a generator used for powering the lightning barriers. It was stolen on an overland transport to another city. The Fog Hounds bring this massive thing to the docks.
The merchant hires the PC for 3 scores:
1) faking the documents of the Sparkwrights (I assume, they’re building these machines and have lists with serial numbers and so on)
2) breaking into a warehouse, where some spare generators are kept to sabotage them
3) sabotage a generator in use at the lightning barrier
The merchant wants to increase the pressure, so his stolen generator is bought. Faking the documents is needed, so the Sparkwrights think, they’re buying a generator currently used by The Hive.
Some of my players want to have contact with Ghosts and stuff, so on the third score there will be coming some ghosts to town, when there is a hole in the barrier.
The rest is pretty forward, I think.
Do you think, this could work?
Any suggestions for improvements?
Thanks!
Came in at the same time. Cool!

At certain points in European history, dissections of human corpses were banned or strictly controlled, leading to a thriving illegal trade between grave-robbing “resurrection men” and the individuals (often high-society artists or legitimate medical schools) who needed bodies.
Do you think Duskwall has room for Resurrectionists in it? I think they make a lovely alternate Smugglers crew.

I was pleasantly surprised and somewhat disturbed at how my players ended the war in Crow’s Foot. They are a crew of Bravos, still haven’t taken a name, but wanted to end the war without picking sides. So they managed to turn the Lampblacks, Billhooks, Grinders, and what remained of the Red Sashes against the Crows. After a bloody victory they took it one step further. During the celebrations, they had their own sort of Red Wedding with the aid of their true allies The Bloodletters. While they didn’t kill all the other gang members, they did succeed at removing the leadership from each. And now ironically, they don’t know what to do next. . . . I love this game!
What is the name and type of your crew? Is there any interesting story behind your name?

Edit: Great stuff people. I think I’ll consolidate this list in a google doc and share it here. I’ll be back at a computer later tonight.
So what kind of rituals has your crew discovered or researched?
So what kind of rituals has your crew discovered or researched? I’m running a one-shot at characters with premade characters and I could use the inspiration.
Who else here is excited for Bluecoats to (hopefully) drop today!

EDIT: Well, there goes that.
