– for the spirit characters – ghosts have gloom, hulls have wear, located just where trauma is on the standard playbook. I assume they work the same? You fill up drain and it becomes gloom, wear?

– opportunities fill-in sheet – I note six, the five thus far detailed crews (breaker, cult, so on), plus one (assassin?). Which would seem to say there is at least one crew spec not yet shared. Are there other crews or playbooks yet to be revealed???

– you can change playbooks, become a ghost, hull, vampire, but I can’t seem to find anything detailing changes on the side of the living – cutter becoming a hound, leech becoming a whisper, so on. Or for that matter, crews changing focus, smugglers turning to hawkers, what have you. Did I miss that, is that on its way, not really necessary for the quick-start, intentionally left out?

I like Doskvol, I like controlled, I like the more specific alchemical notes. So on and so forth, verily

Is it viable to avoid growing in size? Currently, I’m running with a Thief crew that aren’t all that interested in turf Wars and just want to make some coins.

Is that a viable alternative? Or are you going to get slaughtered by the world?

Really excited by the stuff in the v6 PDF!

Really excited by the stuff in the v6 PDF! I’ve been running Blades with one of my gaming groups on off weeks and they’ve been building quite a reputation as the Devil’s Arsonists, involved in lots of arcane hijinks; this version answered a lot of questions we had.

Two questions I have after looking over v6:

–The Leech character sheet on page 35 shows 3 doses of alchemicals per bandolier, but the Alchemy rules on page 63 say that each bandolier holds 4. Which is correct?

–The Hound character sheet on page 34 has the ‘Ghost Hunter’ ability, which gives their hunting pet arcane abilities. Is there any specific explanation of what these abilities do, or are we left to our own imaginations? The player I have playing a Hound seems really keen to pick this special ability, but I don’t have any clear-cut answers for him on what it’ll do so he hasn’t yet.

Thanks in advance for any help or insight!

When I was reading through the new faction notes I saw that the leader of the Silver Nails was Xxx.

When I was reading through the new faction notes I saw that the leader of the Silver Nails was Xxx. Before I realized this meant you hadn’t named him yet, I figured you were just naming him after one of my favorite Vin Diesel films. He is charming, open and ruthless after all. I humbly submit that you name the leader of the Silver Nails Xander Cage in future updates.

P.S. If you don’t that’s fine too.

I’m reading through v6 of the quickstart and saw where John Harper used some of my group’s castoff crew names!

I’m reading through v6 of the quickstart and saw where John Harper used some of my group’s castoff crew names! Awesome!

I did just want to nitpick slightly and say that if there’s going to be any sort of final credit, it should go to Matthew Schwaninger and Joe Wroten. All my own suggestions were bad names, just like when I try to name starships in sci-fi games. 🙂
