A few notes:

-The Background and Heritage options work as intended. I designed it so that the options that you don’t want should be crossed out while the others should remain visible.

-Acrobat refused to keep the fields in the order that I put them, so if you try to TAB through the sheet, the active field will jump around sporadically.

I’d like to whole-heartedly recommend the Crimetown Podcast. The current first season is about the history of mobster crime in Rhode Island. It is very well researched with original material (and pictures on the website, too).

This is definitely inspiring material for a Blades round.

Occult plans?

My players wanted to do an occult plan tonight but we couldn’t think of the detail. So, I was hoping to get advice from the higher Tier crews here to kickstart my brain.

Just noticed that the BitD book suggets 2-4 players + the GM. If I had 5 players, anything I should be concerned about? still new to the rules.

Opinion on crew faction status:

I love how your crew upgrade picks are tied to the status with different factions, however the book states it’s the GM who decides who was affected. I really like how the players chose who they were positive and negative with as it tagged them for interest. So much…hell, most…of Blades is player-driven and I miss that drive when it came to faction status. I know you can do what you like at your table, I just find it jarring that the game is so fexible and player-empowering save that, especially since it’s the players who choose who they like and don’t like once the game’s started.

Hey John, say you’re playing in person, how do you like to record that you have +1 stress box or +1 trauma box on the sheet? Do you just take out a pen and draw a little flag next to your others or do you do something more clever than that?

I will also accept answers like “Idk it’s tricky” or “In the notes, I write ‘Extra Stress’ and draw circles next to it”. This is a very logistical question, not a rules question.
