One of my cult players is bringing a date to our Blades game on Friday. Can’t decide if he really likes her and wants to introduce her to one of his hobbies, or if he’s planning on our group as a ripcord to this relationship. He’s told me not to tone it down, no pressure.

I have been working on a short campaign for a shadow crew. The basic idea behind the campaign is a feud between two minor noble houses. Both houses are pretty poor (comparatively) and their wealth comes from Leviathan hunting ships, obviously. The crew is probably associated with one of the houses in one way or the other.
How large fleets of Leviathan hunting ships minor noble houses are expected to have? Just one or half a dozen? I ask this because my gut feeling is that it might be just one and the “enemy” faction is just getting their second ship ready at some point in campaign.
Another question is what tier those houses should be? Does Tier II sound good?

There is talk of the spirit trade and what not in Blades. Specifically i’m talking about the Dimmer Sisters. I was wondering what is the spirit trade? What are the different things that you can do with spirits that makes it work capturing (and selling) them, besides being an alternate source to create electricity. I’m assuming you can control spirits and use them as guards? Have them possess people and have them work in drug dens synthesizing the various products for sale while not needing breaks? I’m just spitballing but i’d like to know what other people know/ have come up with?
