So, I was searching for plans / blueprints to use as random geographical inspiration for scores using Andrew Shields’ excellent Heist Deck. I’ve come across many examples of Victorian / Edwardian / Georgian floorplans, but this was one of the best! I’ll collate what I find into a G+ Doc and share once done. I may even draw my own versions so I can make a copyright free card deck as an Adjunct to Andrew’s deck.

Ok, so I’ve been playing a lurk in Vasco Brown’s play group, and decided to make some art to flesh out the character.
Ok, so I’ve been playing a lurk in Vasco Brown’s play group, and decided to make some art to flesh out the character. This is Skeever. She’s from Tycheros, and has obvious demon-like traits (black eyes, purple-ish dusky skin, white hair). She carries light climbing gear that doubles as a utility belt, and her shadow cloak folds up into the hood/cowl, so its always within a couple of seconds of use. Her go-to weapons are throwing knives, which are carried on the sides of her torso for easy access. On her wrist is a small crossbow that she developed during downtime. Also, you can see her dark-sight goggles that she uses to sneak in and out of dark places.

The concept arts are very promising and gives me a kind of eery feel for a modern day blades game, which would focus more on a survival horror aspect instead of beeing supernatural powered scoundrels.
I dont know how others are seeing it but I was a bit unsure about integrating supernatural powers for each class in Blades. Its making pushing it in a kind of high fantasy direction within its dark setting which is not always working for me if not running completely gonzo with the setting (which I did and was the main critic point of my players.)
