How Do You Handle Clocks During A Session?
I am going to try running Blades for the first time tomorrow. I found some clocks on the interweb and printed them out on a sheet of paper but I figure folks must have others ways that they handle clocks during sessions.
What do folks do?
Does anyone laminate a sheet of clocks?
Does anyone have a spiffy way to do this on a computer? I would love to have a tablet app that would handle my clocks. π
I use index cards.
Index cards are really good as they let you not only make clocks on the fly, but write down key notes about a scene so people don’t forget!
I use this:
plus.google.com – Hi, here is the revised sheet, and my Clock images which I stick on location …
John Harper I have whiteboard index cards…I will try them out. π
Roe Portal wow…will definitely check out
I ran both of my campaigns entirely on printouts and index cards. Every clock, character, faction, etc went into a little index card folder. Itβs a great way to play.
I printed up fancy clock frames, cut them up, and put them in plastic card sleeves, which work nice with dry erase markers.
My dry erase index cards worked great! The game went great too! The group stole a lock box from a carriage. Fun stuff. ππ
Here is a pic of what I use…they worked awesome! https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/bWigVrGJSJGUbncQB5ABwIBaXbFUU39AgM0JuoK665cs7sen0kU5JGE-dK87w4X4uAMiRPWwBXG4sHVG_L9zdl4L8xZZWPCCWcc=s0
Also normal ol’ index cards here, and a fat Sharpie. You can pass them around, hold them up, clip them together, and tear ’em up and throw ’em away. Gets the job done.
