OK, I’m slowly pulling a list of questions based on my reading of the rules but I have 2 which are really bothering me right now:
1) There are several references to the terror/fear caused by supernatural entities (whispers even have an ability that gives them bonuses to resistance) but I can’t find any references to how this is tested/works ?
2) Is any reason given for why horses are so uncommon outside of Severos ?
Thanks
J
Summoned horrors have a note about causing fear in people who view them. I reckon ghosts and demons can do the same thing.
1) Page 14.
2) They’re not native to Akoros and hard to keep in the cold of Doskvol. The goats are much easier and cheaper.
1) Our GM says our options when faced with a Ghost (for example), are flee, freeze, or Resist with Resolve. Whispers don’t have to do that with Ghosts they summon and Compel, and Iron Will expands that to all spooky gits.
2) No sun so little grass so expensive to feed?
Thanks everyone, I ‘m 4/5ths through the book and clearly I’m already
forgetting what I read at the start ! I asked the horse question as when I
mentioned running this one of my players immediately started getting
excited about daring robberies with escape on horseback (despite the city
being a claustrophobic place), the lack of light and therefore them being
expensive to feed should have been obvious to me. Thanks again.
