I am officially in love with this game, Blades in the Dark.
I am a hardcore ‘Powered by the Apocalypse’ RPG fan, and this is absolutely the best RPG I have ever seen. Everything in this game is made to work as a whole in the most delicate way.
The only drawback is that I cannot find any satisfaction from other RPGs now. Now I expect this level of quality and it is nowhere to be found other than here. I just hope that there will be other game with other genres using the advanced techniques of BitD.
Thank you John Harper for this amazing game. I can dare say it is a meaningful contribution for the humanity.

Right there with you, buddy. Whenever I play another game, I immediately start thinking about how I could hack Blades to make that game better. Sam goes for every TV show or movie I watch – I instantly start writing mental hacks for Blades to run it.

Have only played it a few times but have enjoyed it each time. I really don’t like Pbta games. Bitd feels different to those games
While I still play and love other RPGs (Symbaroum, Star Wars), Blades and its hacks are heavily influencing my designs (Fleshscape, for example). But hey, Ghost Lines is a big big culprit of that too 😛
My only real issue with Blades is that I play with Italians who have basic knowledge of English, so stuff like “prowess” or “turf” or “purveyor” is way beyond them. I’ll see if I can manage to “train” them a little bit 🙂
