Under profit in crew advancement I don’t understand the part in brackets that says 2 stash per crew tier. Did they get 1 stash or 2 per crew tier when the crew advances.

I interpreted that as you get 1 off the top. For every Tier, you get two more. So Tier 2, you get 5 stash.
