Hi, here is a quick sketch I did in the morning for my local gaming group.

Hi, here is a quick sketch I did in the morning for my local gaming group. We were talking about classic fantasy gaming and this was the result. All 3 Playbooks on one sheet. Implemented V8 Push rules and the Healing Clock.

Each time a physical Attribute is trained (6xp) either an attribute can be increased or an Ability taken (giving either +1D or +1Effect)

The sheet is not entirely done and is still missing:

XP Trigger (more in line with Dungeon World)

Veteran Advancements:

2 +1 Harmbox

2x +2 Stressboxes

2x 4. Attribute box unlock

3x Multiclass Specialabilities

  1. Oli, I am bad at layouting books. Single sheets are more my passion. Thats why I asked for Thomas Novosel ‘s help on my books. And seriously, your layout skills are rad too. I dont see why you should need me 😀

XP Trigger (more in line with Dungeon World)

    Veteran Advancements:

    2 +1 Harmbox

    2x +2 Stressboxes

    3x Multiclass Specialabilities

  3. Just curious how are you doing Elementalist for Arcane Lore? Like Tempest but any element not just lightning? I have been toying with a few ideas on a more traditional mage character and looking to see how others are doing it.

  4. Mr. Drop Dice you are spot on.

Groups can decide if thats only one element like in Avatar Animated series or general.

This is my attemp to cut down on having many playbooks. Lost Legends Basic. Or just “Warrior, Rogue & Mage”

Lost Legends Expert, if done at all, will have more options and single sheets. But for now, this sheet is for the german Free RPG Day in Leipzig/Germany.

  5. Oh well, John Perich, I am surprised I dont have more typos in there? my english spelling isnt the best. So thankfully my friends edit texts for me before I publish stuff 😛

  6. Mark Cleveland Massengale I have to try it out. Its from Stras Acimovic work. I had it locked to Force and Resolve Attributes:

2Force +1 Harm and 1Resolve+ 1 Stress. Not sure yet what works better. I am a bit slow on playtesting recebtly.

  7. See, here I was Tinkering with Blades Mechanics in World of Dungeons and you have just made it all much more AWESOME!

Well Done Vandel J. Arden! I Love it. Has a real WHFRP 1e feel.

  8. Thanks John, for helping me out and for your inspiring work.

This character sheet is now finished. I am happy for any feedback.

Nathan Roberts let me know whats WHFRP 1E for you? I wasnt particular thinking about it yet. Inspirations was mainly Dungeon World, Black Hack, Warrior, Rogue & Sage, Shadow of Yesterday, Ghost Lines, Lady Blackbird, Whitehack and so on.

  9. Just FYI, Vandel J. Arden, there are a couple of typos or other potential quick fixes I noticed on the sheet you may like to edit out. I made a list of them below!

I really love the design of this sheet, and the layout. Cramming as much information and flavour as reasonably fits onto sheets that players see always makes me happy!

    • “Heiritage” should be “Heritage”.

    • Below “Trauma”, “Hounted” should be “Haunted”.

    • Under “+Push Yourself”, “accect” should be “accept”.

    • Under Mage’s “Path of the Sage”, “…when STUDY the arcane…” should read “…when they STUDY the arcane…” if possible.

    • Under Mage’s “Arcane Lore”, “master” should be “masters”.

    • Under “Communion of Blood”, “…Target suffer…” should read “…Target suffers…”.

    • Under “Elementalist”, “push” should be in small capitals.

This may not be complete. I read above that English isn’t your first language, so this is a really impressive job and you deserve all the praise you’re getting. I’m sure everyone will help chip in, but if you’d like me to review any other weird languagey stuff you’re not sure about, just send me a message!
