Anyone have a short-ish video that shows how the game is played? I’m trying to sell the game to my playgroup, but having a hard time finding reviews/short plays/”WTF is…” type stuff. 🙂

There are short examples of play in the pdf, I believe. Those should be more or less what you’re looking for. Other than that, there’s all the AP examples posted here. I don’t think there’s a real possibility of a “short-ish” video able to explain the rules, setting, actions, and themes of the game, as well as show how they all mesh together. Any video short enough to be short wouldn’t be long enough to be thorough enough, I’d wager.
To me, the quickest explanation to gauge player interest is “You guys run a gang trying to work from the bottom of the criminal underworld to the top, but the odds are heavily against you. The setting is basically Dishonored.”
I ~really~ want to release a video series on Blades; I already wrote the first bit of the script. Might have to make it a series though, since there is a lot to cover (a lot of good!). I come from a mixed background (2 parts d20, 1 part Storyteller, 1 part homebrew), so the topics I feel good talking about is still being decided
In the meantime, I suggest reading the How to Use the System and Players Best Practices sections very closely. Also, the new Action examples are very helpful. Those were most illuminating to me anyways
