  1. That was suitably apocalyptic! I love reading APs where that initial LB/RS rivalry gets resolved one way or the other!

    Could you elaborate a little more on how you decided to handle Mylera as an obstacle/combatant mechanically? “Boss fights” intrigue me.

  2. Thanks Adam Schwaninger. Since the wanted to kill her and she’s a consummate bad ass, I gave her a 6 tick clock and was pretty wicked with any consequence she gave. Also because she’ just “that deadly” I started off with several actions that she took when she seized the initiative which the scoundrels had to resist or accept (blocking their path, reading their intent, etc).

    She wasn’t actually the focus of the game though, so I didn’t present her as the “boss fight”, just a very major challenge during their score.

  3. Cool! The Mylera in my game got pushed off a balcony in session 1 before I had really internalized ways to make single NPCs viable threats and handle that “initiative” thing.
