For me music is often the best inspiration as a GM, it helps me to envision the setting and tone of the campaign I’m trying to run. So when I started GMing a Blades game I put together two Spotify playlists to listen to while doing my prep. If anyone is interested in them, I’ve linked them both below. The first one is a sort of general setting Blades playlist and the second is a specifically action oriented playlist. I’m a big fan of using the Half-Life and Half-Life 2 soundtracks for action sequences. Also tend to use the Thief soundtracks as well – and when I can, I want to extract the voice files as well. You can get all the Thief music and fanmixes here- http://www.thief-thecircle.com/media/music/
