About the downtime action Vice + Lost. Of course, my players end with lot of stress, often low coins, and lot of things to do. So when they need to remove lot of stress, they use Vice + Lost. They prepared a second PC, and they use it in the next mission. Then, when they return with the 2nd character, they use Vice + Lost, and they regain the 1st character again.
Is this a viable method to rain at least 6 Stress “easily”? Also, this let them to avoid the other options.
I think is a more than fair tradeoff. After all they are developing two PCs instead of one.
Yeah, this means that they are basically splitting their XP between two characters, so…
Yeah, it means they have to alternate characters and each well only be developing at half speed.
Well, the whole Vice mechanic was changed in v4 quickstart rules! 😀
No more 2 characters, from what I’m reading just now! So, now I have to let the players choose their character… Or maybe I can let them to keep both, so if they want to keep switching, they can.

Not according to page 19:
“Alternately, you may choose to release your character to be “lost in their vice” for a session, allowing them to indulge off-camera while you play a different PC.”
Mike, you are right. I completely passed over those couple of lines, when I skimmed it the first time! Thanks.
I’m kinda glad – while I don’t particularly favor playing multiple PCs, it would be a shame to shed the option.
