Hi.

Hi.

Hi. I am running an open game with a lot of players. Players play according to their availability. I have two gangs, and the ops usually has one player from the other gang. Every game is related to the gang with most players in the table, in the same city and with linked goals.

This afternoon I have a small problem: I will have an equally mixed group. I am thinking about offer the players to select the gang, do it related to the operation type or split the rep and coins between the gangs.

What dou you think?

Hey all!

I’ve been enjoying the hell out of running BITD, and I believe my gang of Shadows (The Ebon Silence) will soon be howling for the blood of the Billhooks.

They are currently Tier 1, and I am wondering some ways you would handle them attempting to completely wipe out a Tier 2 faction like the Billhooks…I’ve got their motivation for doing so in the works, I’m talking the during and the aftermath…

I KNOW this has to have been discussed before on here, but I can’t seem to find the right keywords to search for it…:-(

Hi, did any of you run a game where the PCs played corrupt bluecloaks? What playbook did you use? How did you prevent them from using the vast resources of the state? What else should I know about running such a gang?

I’m about to start a game involving a crew of Smugglers and I seem to have a mental block about scores using “Transport” as the point of engagement. I know that not everything a Smuggler crew does will actually involve scores based on moving things around, but this does seem likely to come up.

The missing detail is “route” – but so far whenever I imagine how things may go the Score would seem to start somewhere on that route with some other type of encounter (an infiltration, a confrontation, a deception etc).

What am I missing, and can anyone give me some examples of how they would run Transport scores?

I’m planning on running a game for some of my coworkers and it ended up generating a lot more interest than I expected. I was wondering how difficult it would be to run a game with more than 5 players? The recommended number of players for a game according to the book is 4-6 but I have 8 people interested. Does anyone have any experience running a game this big? I don’t like turning people down from playing but I’m afraid I might have to as this is my first time running the game, and a crew that big may become unwieldy. Thoughts?

I’m setting up a Roll20, cautiously. My RL group isn’t that into anything besides D&D and Shadowrun, and it’s like pulling teeth to get them to even try something different. I’d prefer a forum type game since my time is pretty limited but I’m hoping maybe to pull off a Saturday thing. If I can’t do that, I have a City of Brass account that I think might support some type of play? Anyway, I want to run Blades…

EDIT: The fix is online. There should be no need to follow these instructions anymore.

Hey everyone,

I’ve messed up a thing — since this Tuesday, the “broadcast” part of the roll template in Roll20 is broken, so if you’ve ever clicked on one of the little bells, your chat might not work. Sorry!

1) If you’re suffering problems in chat, clear your chat archive (from outside the game, press Settings -> Clear Chat Archive).

2) DO NOT press the little bell/alarm buttons to send stuff to chat. If you do, you’ll have to clear your chat archive for things to work again.

3) It’ll be fixed with next week’s pull request (so probably next Tuesday).
