Why aren’t demons running the world?

Why aren’t demons running the world? What’s preventing them from taking anything they want, killing anyone they want? And what do they want anyway? Is corruption a thing in a world with no heaven or God? Do demons have an agenda or goals? Why aren’t they represented in any faction? Even the 7th version of the QS doesn’t give answers. Why does Setarra need Scurlock’s help with anything? Why do demons need the PCs help with anything?

A question: The Leech playbook items have 3 slots for “gadgets” and both the Leech and the Whisper feature special abilities related to tinkering with things.

Is the final game to include special rules for this (similar to the ritual or alchemy rules), or is something left for the players to decide?

I’ve just updated to version 7, and I felt I must mention how much I love the new district vignettes and artwork. When jumping into such a different fictional setting such as Blades, getting a visual idea of the atmosphere and landscape can be one of the biggest difficulties in communicating the environment, and these ‘slice’ views of each district communicate that street-level feel perfectly. Seeing the vertical dynamics from steel dock beams, rooftops, merchant bridges and lower sewers instantly gives me a clear idea of things to keep in mind when the PCs are running their score.

This is something I would love to see echoed in other RPGs and adventure modules when trying to establish their setting.

My intent is to make a dramatic, entertaining RPG session happen.

My obstacle is that good GMing is often hard to do.

What action am I using? Sway? Consort? Finesse? ATTUNE? (not Attune, unless you want your session to be amazing)

What this means to me:  makes fine silk ropes that he sells to the elite for the purpose of pleasure, as well as keeps a record of all his noble customers in case he needs to get a favor from them in the future.

Went from having no idea who was working with the Dimmer Sisters in the Nightmarket to having a great hook.

I noticed in the new Assassins crew the No Traces ability lets you keep half the rep value of the target instead of 0 when you make it look like an accident. Does this mean crews normally don’t get any rep when they keep a job quiet with no one knowing it was them? This makes total sense but I am not seeing that elsewhere in the rules, am I missing it and if so has it always been this way?
