Hey everyone! I’m writing a couple of playbooks for new crew types and was wondering if anyone has done similar books. The first is a gang that specialises in scavaging from the Deathlands and the other is a gang that is designed for more social based heists (a noble house looking to claw its way up through the ranks).
Has anyone attempted to hack these before?
Also, are there any templates for Blades sheets, or resources for fonts and such?
Cheers!
I’m working on a few different ones myself, ‘though I really like the seedy noble house idea. Looking forward to what you’ve got to share.
I absolutely plan on sharing them here!
Love the idea of a deathlands scavenger crew!
Both of those sound really interesting, both things I’d love to give a try! I look forward to seeing what you come up with!
Sounds cool! I think that resources are only available for KS-backers with the corresponding pledge level. Which fonts to use was a question asked here before. I think it’s Kirsty for the headlines and Minion Pro for bodies. Kirsty is a free font (check dafont.com) and Minon Pro is included in Windows (I think). Feel free to look up the old article about the fonts, I think there were more details there. I rememeber somone shared a crew template for an open source tool…
Thanks Stefan Struck. I’d totally drop a few bucks to pick up a hacking kit for Blades John Harper, is there any plans to release that stuff seperate from the Delux edition?
One of the crews for my hack is trying to focus on being the more social/nobility based. The inspiration is basically “What if you have a crew of wyrmtongues”. I haven’t had a chance to playtest and still heavily in development ( subject to change, yadda yadda yadda) but here’s the current sheet for that crew:: drive.google.com – HoT_Vizier_Crew.pdf – Google Drive
Most of the moves are basic tweaks to the plethora of crew moves in Blades standard, however I added this one for them especially:: Gambit on the Turn: If you involve a contact, friend, or ally in your score, you can use their Tier as a base instead of your own crew’s Tier when determining engagement.
Thanks Ben Wright, I’ll take a look!
Second the desire to back the hack kit.
