The first novel is out there for sale (except trying to fix a glitch so the ebook will work.) The second novel is going through editing and will be out in a couple short months. And I’m started on the third.

This first chapter takes a quick look into the heroic life of a young Inspector determined to bring a brutal crew of scoundrels to justice. How do you like his odds?

  1. Just got the print copy of the first book (via Lulu), so far I’m loving it — as a Blades GM it’s nice to get more ideas, and the book is very well written and flows nicely. Definitely getting the follow-ups, too 🙂

  2. Petri Wessman, thank you for getting Silk and Silver! I trust you’ll enjoy the rest of the ride, it was fun to write and I think Blades GMs will get even more out of it than readers who don’t play the game. There are a lot of heists, challenges, factional struggles, and tier interactions there. =)

  3. Andrew Shields Maybe this is a stupid question. Is there an ideological Reason why your books and ebooks are published on Lulu, and not on Amazon and other self-publishing platforms where they could be cheaper and reach a much bigger market ?Not counting the fact that ebook formatting is a breeze with those systems ?

  4. A B Going through Lulu, I have access to Amazon; if you go there now and search for the book it comes up.

If I stuck to Lulu alone the books would be cheaper, but adding access to Amazon and other places (the distribution includes Barnes and Noble, and Ingram), the rate increases because Amazon takes a bigger cut, and the price is consistent across platforms (though I make significantly more if you buy from Lulu than if you buy from Amazon.)

Another advantage to Lulu is their frequent and occasionally deep discounts, which is a good reminder to me to promote and a benefit to those interested in buying.

  5. Andrew Shields Andrew Shields Thanks, I found it. Bizarringly a first search with just the title didn’t give anything. But maybe I did something wrong.
