It’s time for a new season of BitD and that means a new ‘starting situation.’ The hunting grounds will be in Six Towers, Factions included will be The Wraiths, The forgotten Gods, The Grey Cloaks and the Arms of the Weeping lady. Problem is I’m kinda blanking on what the situation should be (Red Sashes/Lampblacks was awesome). Any help or ideas would be greatly appreciated!

  1. Wraiths want an arcane ally; Forgotten God Cult is blocking because arcane ally is a threat to their God

Weeping Lady is a “pseudo-religion”: Forgotten God Cult will allow no religion above theirs

Gray clocks want to take over Six Towers; Forgotten God Cult offers to assist in exchange for protection from other factions.

  2. Desperate people is trying to ship their loved ones outside the lighning barrier, so that their body and souls will be not captured and burned by the Spirit Warden.

The Gray Cloaks are taking money in order to help this persons.

The Arms of the Weeping Lady are torn: the Gray Cloaks are dangerously expansionist in six torwers, but they find the purpose to be noble (even if they hate the fact the Gray cloaks make people pay so much.)

The cultist of the forgotten gods could:

    – take advantage of the sould of the dying

    – take advantage of the going back and forth from the lightning gates.

The Wraiths are helping the cultist by spying on the smuggling of dying persons in order to secure an arcane ally, but they don’t like them so much. Why?

In this case, i’d advice you to involve the spirit Warden.

  3. The Gray Cloaks had hired the Wraiths to help gain evidence against Lord Strangford, but were instead betrayed for the reward money. Nessa managed to kill her attacker, but was been seriously wounded and taken into the Arms of the Weeping Lady for care.

Now the Gray Cloaks have holed up at the Weeping Lady hospice, turning it into a small fortress, while the Wraiths contact a cult who may help them extract knowledge from the dead so that they can finish Nessa while gaining blackmail info against Lord Strangford.
