How are the District’s traits used? I cannot seem to find anything in the book explaining that.

Purely narrative. They help shape the differences in the districts – rich, poor, ruined, cramped, etc.
In the book they are set up to look just like attribute on the character sheet with the varying number dots next to each trait. There doesn’t appear to be any explanation in the book about this (that I can find). That is confusing. Thanks for clearing that up! I would have been looking for a long time. 🙂
I thought there was something about using them for Fortune rolls, but that may have been in a discussion on here.
Benjamin Davis They can be used as traits for Fortune rolls: it’s not spelled out in the rules (I think), but fortune rolls use “traits” to determine the number of dice, and those are, in fact, traits 🙂
MisterTia86, that’s exactly how I use them. Not sure if there’s an occult shop that sells demon blood and don’t want to dictate it? Pick the rating for the district and adjust as needed. It’s super helpful!
Fortune Roll, pages 34 and 35.
Thanks for the game John, I love it. Going back with current knowledge, looking at pages 34 and 35 are more clear but perhaps putting at least an example of using the district traits in BitD 2, wouldn’t hurt. 🙂
Nah. 🙂
