  1. Eadwin Tomlinson I’ve done a few and they work much better than I would’ve thought. I think Blades excels in longer-term play. In a one-shot, if the group hasn’t played before and you aren’t going with pre-gens, it’ll take 45 mins+ to get ready to play (with character and crew generation and general questions/explanations). But after that it goes really well.

    In this session, we have about two hours of play and a brief run-through the post-score mechanics.
