How do your scoundrels carve up the map?

How do your scoundrels carve up the map? I’m running a crew of Shadows who make their home in Six Towers, but have hunting grounds in The Docks, when they start acquiring claims should they be expanding out of their hunting grounds or lair? either? Do you play it that their holdings can be spread out across Duskvol? I can’t really picture a hagfish farm in either The Docks or Six Towers.

I suspect it’s probably a matter of personal taste but I’m curious what others are doing.

  1. I’ve got a hagfish farm on a rooftop in Crow’s Foot; every week they open the troughs and let eel-slimed slop water run down the gutters into the streets, onto the unsuspecting heads of foot-traffic. It’s great!

More to your question: the turf map seems to be situated around the lair, so I would say build out from their lair. The turf stuff seems more about expanding your realm of influence… I think of Peaky Blinders, and how they have the gambling office, but they also have the pub down the street, and they’ve got the sheds up the river. I dunno, maybe that’s just me.

  2. hmm that rooftop hagfish farm is making me rethink my previous stance, I guess the caves below the city would work as well for farming out some corpse disposal fish as well.
