I want to double check my understanding of stress recovery.

If the PC has zero dots in, lets say, Prowess and indulges in their vice they roll 2 dice and keep the lowest. If they get a 1 and a 6 on the dice they would recover 1 stress.

Is that correct?

  1. Oops. We’ve been doing it wrong. I read “like a resistance roll in reverse” and thought somehow low rolls were good. Like you’d subtract the roll from 6 to see how much stress was recovered.

Getting it wrong has been interesting because it meant new PCs take and recover stress easily while veterans are more cautious about pushing themselves and have a harder time recovering. But since they are more experienced they don’t need to push as often.

We’ll get it right next session.
