  1. I would recommend against it. They have enough problems with factions and stress without inter crew conflict, plus they’re incompatible with the expanded teamwork rules. They got ported over to the NPC and faction relationships anyways.

  2. I would just have the players write them up as beliefs and then use the “when you express your beliefs, drives, heritage, or background…” XP trigger to reward them.

  3. Friends at the Table had beliefs and something else that they explicitly stated in the second session of their Blades hack. I liked it, since it informed their RP and made awarding XP clearer, though I know John has said before he didn’t feel they belonged jn Blades.

  4. Its kind of already there as a crew xp trigger. “Did you express the goals, drives, inner conflict, or essential nature of the crew.” Thats my take on it anyway.

  5. Im with Adam Bloom here: If you want it you can have them using the PCs xp triggers and the Crew xp triggers about inner conflict, goals, drives, essential nature. I won’t make them explicit up front. It’s more fun to keep that flexible and during XP you see what you had in the session.

  6. Jason Lee Beliefs and Instincts, lifted from Burning Wheel. However, this pretty much covered bonds the same way others are suggesting, as a belief about another party member (ie “Aubrey must be protected”).
