I’ve just spotted Profits on page 49, which states that Every time the crew advances, each PC gets +1 stash (+2 per crew Tier) as a bonus payment, to represent profits generated by the crew as they’ve been operating.
I’ve not been doing this, and at any rate have a question: Is that every time you do crew XP, or when the crew advances in Tier?
If it’s the latter, then do you use the new Tier or the old Tier?
It’s another great mechanic, by the way – I’m just not sure when to apply it.
It’s whenever the Crew fills up its Playbook xp meter.

It’s every time your Crew Advances, it has nothing to do with old or new Tier. Advancement is when your Crew XP fills up. Additionally, note that it says Stash, so this goes directly into your savings and can be converted to Coin as per the normal divide by 2 rule.
You know, I’ve read this rule several times and I still associate it with increasing Tier and not Advancement. I don’t know what it is, but somehow it just got linked to the wrong thing in my head and I can’t shake it
For some reason, my physical book says the amount is Crew tier +2, not +1 (+2 per tier). Is the book out of date? Any other errata people know of?
My book says the same, Nihzlet — I think Marcus Shepherd may have been reading from the v8.1 PDF which does say 1 + 2xTier.
The book is correct. I guess I need to fix the PDF.
