John Harper: Do you have a style guide for Blades? Specifically, for playbooks, how did you decide what words needed bolding, and what words needed the small text?

I know I’ve seen one before, but I tried looking a bit back and couldn’t find it. I probably wasn’t trying hard enough, haha.
I haven’t seen it yet. But I dissected the styles of the latest text recently. It varies depending on where it’s used for sure.
In an ability description, specific mechanics phrases like the action names and coin/rep get the small caps/bolded, and the operative words of its benefit get bolded. “+1d” and “+1 effect” always gets bolded, too. Italics are reserved for choices the player makes (ability variations, or leading questions) and triggers. There are a few deviations too (like not repeatedly bolding terms over and over), but that’s the skinny of it
I remember seeing one. I regret not storing it at the time, because I’m pretty sure it’s gone now. But Mark Cleveland Massengale’s assessment is pretty good.
Interesting. That means it predates the final of the text? It was something John published, or..? I saved pretty much all the documents from the development for my nefarious hacking so maybe I saved it and forgot if so..
My memory is sketchy, but I think it was published after v8.1. I looked through the archive of Kickstarter messages and didn’t find it there, and then looked through G+ and didn’t find it there.
It looks as though it’s been retracted and expunged; that might be because it was incomplete, or contained mistakes, or it might be that the publishers didn’t actually want it to be published. After all, it does sort of represent their IP.
