I just got a shipping Number … which says it was picked up on the 8th of Jun… with no follow up entries… Heres hoping its on the barge up here and will get here next week cause if it doesn’t then Im not getting it before I move, and without a forwarding address I may not get it.

You aren’t the only one. I had mine picked up on the 8th as well and then it disappeared off my USPS account. The only thing I can think is that somehow Media Mail doesn’t much in tracking.
whats frustrating is that I ordered a copy of the basic book off amazon and got it 8 days after ordering.
Just as a data point, mine left Des Moines on the 2nd, and got to Chicago on the 6th. It is still showing as “out for delivery”, even though I received it on the 6th.
That’s somewhat reassuring but everything media mail needs to hit Seattle for the barge to Juneau on certain days … or it waits a week. So fingers crossed

Remind me why I hate Media Mail. While I’m happy that my books are “on their way”, they were shipped from Indiana on the 8th. Right now, they are sitting in Iowa for the past 2 days. Portland seems like it’s around the world at this rate.
