Ooooh! Hopefully they went by last name shipping them out. Means mine should be at my brother’s soon! Haha.
Cool! Now, we here in Europe may only have to wait another month or two or three…
BTW the Table looks cool, too! 🙂
Somehow I missed everything about this game until a few weeks ago, and I’m eating myself up to have missed a chance at the special edition. It looks so gorgeous.
Hoping my copy arrives soon! I haven’t gotten any kind of shipping notification though… did you?
What’s the one on the left? I recognize Karthun (kicking myself for missing out on that one), but not the left one.
Nihzlet the left hand book is the Blades Special Edition
Ahh, didn’t assume you’d gotten both, so I figured it was the right one. Very nice!
Nihzlet these aren’t my books. I haven’t got mine. These are from the linked tweet.
It seems obvious now. I was blinded by anticipation.
What’s the Karthun book about?
Stacie Winters, I don’t know. I just linked to this photo because it’s the first I saw of the Special Edition of Blades.
Karthun is a campaign setting for heroic fantasy a la D&D or Pathfinder, though the book itself is system-neutral I believe. Co-created by the guy who writes the d20Monkey webcomic, Brian Patterson, which is how I found out about it — in the comic it was created by one of the characters and they play games in it.
