Stras Acimovic, would it be possible to get an ETA on when we can expect the next iteration of Scum & Villainy?

Stras Acimovic, would it be possible to get an ETA on when we can expect the next iteration of Scum & Villainy? I am sure you are busy, so if it is too much trouble, feel free to ignore this. Mostly curious.

  1. It’s written and layout’s done, currently it’s in editing (I believe John LL is meeting with our editor for a session tonight) which considering it’s 50 pages takes a bit. So … soon?

  2. A thanks for another purchaser. My game is twenty sessions in and hoping to eliminate some of the house rules we’ve put in place for components not covered in the current set.

  3. (Sorry I posted in my work Google Profile before). Other ships, components, sensors and electronic warfare, cybernetics, different weapons and armor types, zero-g combat, different planet types and environments, “psionics”, the mercenary company “crew” the players are a part of, vehicles and vehicular combat.

Don’t get me wrong, my game is Expanse/Firefly rather than Star Wars – I’m not thinking all the systems in my game will be covered by the update but reverse engineering what I need from more examples is easier than trying to design a mercenary gunship from the Stardancer.

  4. That’s super awesome craig 😀

I’d love to see some of the stuff you guys have done if you have it written up someplace. Some of the stuff the update won’t help with, but as you say the plethora of examples should give you a leg up (I know the new ships will help you make gunships more easily, and there’s a bunch of abilities/permissions and xeno examples that should help with some of the rest) ^_^

  5. Yes 🙂 We got the last edit pages to us and we should have all edits done by tonight. Our editor is doing a second pass to see if we should release or if there are any minor things still lurking.

    So should be shortly here.
