One thing I hoped to see in the final edition was a better explanation of what stash looks like in game before the character retires. I like the fortune dice rule a lot, and in the recent Bloodletters AP I saw Oskarr reaching for a butler and Arcy talking about owning property. I pitched my values lower in my mind, prefer them this way for sure. What do levels 1-4 look like in your world?
Anything beyond 0 in our games typically means you have some place to live that isn’t completely exposed and unsafe.
1-2 Lifestyle have meant nicer clothes and appearing respectable in front of people of higher tier or who live in wealthier district.
I like the link to Tier, puts it into context.
The retirement situations indicated by stash level are a good guideline for what the lifestyle levels represent. And yes, they do correspond to Tier/Quality, roughly.
