Has anyone done a “Modern day” hack of BitD ? I am currently playing a lot of Payday2, It is a game about Heists, mostly going wrong and ending up in a huge firefight. I think BitD could work great for it.

Marcus Burggraf Thank you! I haven’t played Pay Day 2 but I read the wiki article and I feel like I should.
It is a crazy shooter most of the time. But the world and characters they portrait I quiet like and they suggest much more then they actually tell. John Wick being in the same universe for example is very obvious, allegedly even masks from the game show up in the film. But there is this other suggestion of a world where a crime.net exists where you can get hired to do jobs, where a John Wick, the people from Hotline Miami and Scarface all exist in the same universe.
It gets a bit silly, but pulling of a great robbery is awesome. Still, shooting hundreds of Cops is of course totally bonkers. So as long as you understand it is not realistic in any way and does not try to be you should be OK. Just look for it at a steam sale, it is regularly discounted.
