How does everyone see the aesthetic of Blades in the Dark?

I’ve been looking at “victorian” era things, mixed with a bit of gothic steampunk?

Anyone else got any keywords that help identify images?

  1. I tone down Steampunk everytime I encounter it. The game where Sherlock Holmes solved a Cthulhu Mythos -mystery would be my first go-to. (Awakened or something like that?)

  2. Kenny Crowe, I shun you!

    Unshun.

You MUST play them! They are soooooo good!

I also mix in a bit of Penny Dreadful, as people I’m playing with have watched it.

  3. ooh, that was another very cool series (Penny Dreadful) although it got a bit weird at times.. and poor frankenstien + his monster – those actors were way out of their depth compared to the others
