Has anyone used journalism or publishing as an element of their game?
We’re about to start our first Blades series, using the Hawkers crew sheet to play the staff of an anarchist newspaper in 19th-century Brazil. So it would be great to know any tips or resources people have.
No advice, but that sounds AMAZING. And sadly sort of topical for American friends.
The character I’m playing in our play-by-post game is a former journalist, but it hasn’t really come up in play yet.

I just introduced the Ink Rakes as a faction in my game. The Dolls have been dabbling in politics, so they’re starting to attract attention.

If anyone wants a newspaper name, the oney character worked for was called the North Hook Herald. He used to write a column called The Writing on the Wall. I was pretty happy with myself when I thought of that pun.

Apparently there was a point where armed goons shot everyone on a bus reading the “wrong” newspaper.
