I’ve missed all of these so far. Is there a way to watch them later?
That character art is SO compelling!
(I also second Matthew Gagan’s question about whether it’s possible to watch after the fact.)
Matthew Gagan tonight will be the first episode of this series.
There wasn’t a previous series that’s been going on? (Not the Six Towers stuff)
I’ll want to watch all these later as Blades GM education in any case.
This is episode one of the RollPlay series. There are a lot of other Blades shows around. 🙂
The videos will be on YouTube later.
Oh my god, YES!
Adam Minnie Jp uploads them to his youtube channel in one hour chunks once per day after the air date. if you subscribe to his twitch you can watch the VODs, if you back his pateron you get access to I believe the MP3s as soon as he can after the show. Not 100% sure on the last one.
Adam Minnie yes, who did the art? I’m fond of Mongo The Librarian up there
Damn! I know who to hit up if I ever want a character illustration now.
Aaron Griffin find the artist here.

This was a great show! Experienced players, new to Blades, well-explained (as always John) – when this is up on VOD it’ll be another great resource for how the game can work.

Great job as always John! And the show appears to have been a hit with JP’s community. Double win

I noticed that Roll20 had a different art for the automatic roll. Are those from the new crew sheets that have been coming up in this google+ community as well? If so, are they released for the public yet and how can I switch from the old style to the new ones?
Oliver Smock It’s an alternate version of the sheet on roll20… should eventually be integrated with the official version… search for +Tim Denee’s posts about it. You need a pro roll20 account to use it for now.
Having now watched the episode, turns out I was 1 for 4 in guessing their playbooks. I guessed Hound, Lurk, Cutter and Slide, and only got Aldo right.
Mark Griffin I was really surprised and happy to see that they didn’t feel forced or concerned with having repeat “roles” by having 2 cutters.
GREAT game. Been watching in bits and pieces over the last few days.
You know what I really love about this? Yes, beyond the fantastic players, the colorful characters, the handsome and devilish GM.
What I love is the way that the score could have gone so very, very differently. At every point and juncture, things could have gone another way — and they would all have made great stories.
Every choice the characters made mattered. Every roll the players made mattered.
That’s such a rare, wondrous thing. It really shows off how elegantly Blades serves as an engine for storytelling and adventure. Hats off to ye.
Once Firm was revealed as a cutter, I was trying to decide what Aldo would be since there couldn’t possibly be two cutters. The obvious escaped me briefly.
What is Catteby’s (Wheat’s) playbook: Spider?
Yep.
I keep hoping Geoff* will advance and take Ghost Contract, so some “real” handshakes can start being made 3:)
Downtime was just as rich as the score. That was neat to watch. Thanks all!
