I have to admit I’ve not read/played any version since the first one released with the Kickstarter.
What am I missing out on? What should I read about first?

If you haven’t seen anything since that first version, I’d start with the maps/streets previews and then the faction writeups. Those are really cool.

Oh Geeze, if it’s been that long you are going to need to take a long look at the rules, they’ve changed quite a bit. You used to have to roll for effect if I recall? Are you planning on playing or just perusing?
New playbooks. Leech and Spider (and Ghosts, Vampires, Hulls). And new Crews.
