Hi everyone, I just started dming a game rotating dm. One of the players asked if there was a way to possibly buy crew upgrades or refine their items with coin. I was looking threw the pdf trying to find an answer with no luck. Could any possibly point me to where I’d need to look?

You can acquire assets with downtime actions and spend coin to increase your effect, thus (on a crit-equivalent level of effect) gaining exceptional/fine items.
Crew Upgrades only by leveling the crew and no additional coins possible.
You might allow things like this with a Long-Term Project. Coin can be spent to speed up the project.
Long Term Project allow for any “rule-breaking” as long as they make sense in the fiction.
