As I have missed the kickstarter and with that the scoundrel portrait by John, I had to do my own.

As I have missed the kickstarter and with that the scoundrel portrait by John, I had to do my own. Looks like a tinkerer / Leech to me, what do you think?

BTW my kids are still laughing 🙂

  1. Something about the high collar and cap reminds me of sailors’ garb from a certain era.  The goggles are obviously there to protect the sailor from spraying leviathan  blood…

  2. S Nokes Good point. Funny how everything points to the Leviathans. Should do an epic story about that like being “eaten” by one like biblical Jonas. Not sure if that will be physical or in the ghost sphere or both. Not sure if my players will go for “epic”. I see a lot of opportunities to make coin 🙂

  3. Being caught in a leviathan’s mouth and taken to crush depth, then forming a bond with the demon so it releases you near a rescue craft, would be a great origin for a Whisper. =)

Still visiting that surreal maw every time you go to sleep, wondering if that is the dream, or if the rest of your life in Duskwall is the real dream and you never escaped, your imagined life a theater production for the demon that mouths your slowly dissolving corpse.

  4. Alternately, this could be a railjack.  When you’re hanging onto the top of a moving train, keeping soot out of the eye and windburn down a tad are both kind of important.
