Oh no! One of my players is used as the example of being a weasel on the “Players: Best Practices” page!
Now I just have to decide if I’ll let him read that page.

Everyone ELSE knows now. Might as well. 🙂
Our shorthand for this is ‘summon a spirit of fireballs’ from an old Mage campaign where one of the players tried to use Spirit in place of just about every other sphere! 🙂
Many players can’t be forced to read the rules, so it may be plenty well hidden if you simply take no action. =)
Andrew Shields Oh yeah, for sure he’ll never see it unless I show it to him. None of my players are the type to purchase (let alone read) Indie RPG books, or hang out on forums. I’m the weird guy that forces them to try stuff that isn’t 5E D&D.
I thought it was a perfect example, so I included it, but I can easily shift the exact details if it’s an issue, Mark. Let me know if I should change it.
John Harper It’s not an issue, I mostly thought it was funny.
Ah, good! 🙂
I’m pretty sure I learned all the subheadings on that page from good old dad: Plan Now, Act Later; Don’t be a weasel, Take responsibility; Embrace Scoundrel Life, Use your Stress Boxes.
