The heist is to acquire forbidden food, freedom, and/or attention. During down time, you must get “out of the doghouse” with the food dispensing bipeds and deal with any conditions you picked up on the heist (“rolled in sewage” for 4 segments, “skunk surprise” for 8 segments, “imperial entanglements” for 6 segments) using your “Gaze” action on the bipeds who service you.
Claiming turf takes on a much more tangible meaning. 🙂
