  1. I like it. Alternatively, you could have the player roll the die they contribute, so not only is it clear that they helped, but they have a very immediate, present sense of ownership of that assistance.

  2. We’ve often done this inadvertently in BW games, whose rules explicitly state the helping player has to hand a die to the rolling player, which usually means it’s from a different set. I’m.. not a fan, as I usually find it an anticlimactic counterpoint to the main test.
