Hi guys!

Hi guys!

Hi guys! Looking to learn the game. I’d like to run(GM) a G+ Hangout game on Thursdays 9pm- 12am EST, and I’d like to get 2-3 players, if possible (There’s a strong chance one of my local gaming group players joining us, hence, I’d need 2-3 more). I’d like to start on April 16, if there are any takers.

Requirements:

1) We’ll be using the Beta 08b/ 4/02/15 version of the Quickstart rules. Please download if you haven’t already and read up. I’ll be doing the same. As per John Harper’s request, I will not be sharing the pdf with anyone, so be sure you’re a backer and have it already. We’ll be learning together, but please read up, so we don’t have to start from ‘what is a roleplaying game?’  😉

2) Bring a character! Write it up beforehand and have it ready to go. I’d like to hit the ground running straight to building the Crew and getting to the action. Optimally, we can build the crew together via pm, so we know what the other people would like to play and build a balanced crew. (Or not, let’s see what happens.) I’ll be using the standard setting and the setup given on the QS rules.

3) Bring a little patience! I’ve got 35 years RPG experience, but it’s my first time with these rules, so expect a bumpy ride until we’ve got the system down.

Anyone interested?

  1. I wont lie and say I have much experience with table top games. We are looking at a grand total of two years worth of experience with pathfinder (We Be Goblins, Carrion Crown, Reigns of Winter, Sky Pirates, a Mass Effect homebrew setting and recently Giantslayer in order) making Blades in the Dark the second rule set I have ever played under.

I will go ahead and say that I am only 20 which puts me at half your age and presumably that of your local group so if you find any fault in that I understand.

I consider myself very friendly, imaginative and just all around awesome (I don’t consider myself awesome at all… But it is nice to pretend… Also, I  suffer from a horrible sense of humor).

Lastly, my main interested in terms of character lays in the whisper and hound.

  2. Awesome. Sounds good. No extensive experience is necessary. We’ll learn the game together! Andrew Cesar  We’ve got 1 more interested party, so that’s 2 players. Waiting on one of my local guys to confirm for the third player spot, but it’s looking good so far. Any other takers?

  3. Sure thing,  Michael Williams . Got a spot for you.

Pending on confirmation by one of my local players, that seems to be 4 total. If anyone else is interested, I’ll gladly put you on a waiting list, in case someone has to bail out later.

  4. Thanks, looking forward to playing. Quick question, is anyone else interested in trying the Whisper playbook? I’m good with playing anything, that’s just the class that has my interest piqued at the moment (if only they had the Leech or the Spider in the quickplay, my favorite character archtypes).
