  1. I ask, not because I want to Spam the world, but because your word of mouth and your quickstart play stories can introduce plenty of new people to Blades right now. As far as I know there has never been a legitimate licensed Vlad Taltos RPG, which is in my humble opinion a crime, and one that we can easily rectify.

In the end thats why I like Kickstarter because while its up to the creator to make a cool product, passionate backers can and do help the success of the funding by spreading the word far and wide. With 2 awesome stretch goals before us and with an excellent team of folks writing setting material already I have no doubt that this will be the best RPG book of early 2016 (or if Verra allows an excellent birthday present in November). Kicktraq estimates a 150K pledge level but we can do better. Lets shoot for 175 or 180 K.

  2. As of right now, the kickstarter is the only way to get the Jhereg playset. I hope to do another deal with Steve in the future so it can be offered as a supplement (or even a standalone game product), but our current deal is for the KS period only.

So that detail might matter to Jhereg fans out there.

  3. So people won’t be able to buy / get the different AU settings once the Kickstarter is done?

( Could prove to be a major selling point )

(( Even though I don’t know who Steven Burst is and haven’t read his books ))

((( I still hope for a crime playset done by Italians ^^; )))

  4. John, seriously good information to know. I cross posted that info to the Steven Brust fanclub community on the Facebooks. Brainstorming a few more places to Blade Bomb.

  5. John Harper maybe it’s an idea to post that as an update on the Kickstarter as well? The default setup (I think?) is that you get an e-mail whenever there is an actual update post added on the Kickstarter site, while there is no notification when the main KS page gets updated.

It’s a fine line between being spammy and not having any updates…
