Nice idea.
I’m having trouble deciding what would be different from the thieves crew and the normal playbooks.
If anything is necessary, maybe replace prowl with drive? To push it further, maybe list vehicle styles/tags flavored to each playbook that acts like a mix of both the the current playbook friends lists (players pick a favorite) and background (bonus +1d to action rolls while driving/stealing that favorite style of vehicle).

Adam Minnie Yea, it just fits so easily. So much of the movies are about the people more than the cars that the thinnest veneer of importance painted over the cars will give it all the awesome it really needs.
