This system seems perfect for a modern Hunter / Supernatural-style playset. White Wolf’s injury system is a bit too harsh; the mechanics of Stress and Trauma would be perfect for much more durable and badass characters.

  1. Looks like there’s already plenty of stretch goals planned out and ready to be achieved, but I’d LOVE to see this added. Otherwise, I may have to try my hand at a hack some day.

  2. I have a feeling that it will be very easy to hack once all the stretch goals are done. You’ll have an amazing menu of options to draw from.

  3. If anyone’s eyeing putting together a team to work on this project when Blades is hack-ready, I’d like to be +ed in.  I could use a proper excuse to unearth the old Hunter books.  That was absolutely my favorite RPG of its era.

  4. Josh McGraw I definitely plan on giving it a whirl. I played Hunters Hunted, Reckoning (blargh), and Vigil (awesome) and would definitely draw from those, as well as from my “Supernatural” TV show fanboy-dom.

  5. Did anything ever come of this idea? I was poking around for hack ideas, thinking I’d do a Blades hack of Fragged Empire or Fragged Kingdom, but a hack of Vampire seems interesting to me. Damnation City was heading in the right direction. But, I’d be excitied to see anything WoD-ish as well.
