I was goofing around this evening making R-maps for my Blades game and it was only a bit more work to make the opening situation Faction map implied by the Quick Start (p4). I’m planning to use this next time I run a Blades one-shot.
If anyone wants to get the XMind file and clean it up, make it more usable, please let me know. I’m not a designer and I’ve never used Xmind before.

Amazing! I am overly exuberant about quality relationship maps, but had not yet thought of doing up the factions this way. What possibilities!
Now I want to visualize the relationships among all the factions of Duskwall.
I’ve tried. It’s insane. Not possible in a readable graphic, far as I can tell.
Doing one r-map per faction is maybe the way to go.
Nice man! Well done, I love this sort of Info dump. My brain is playing with the idea of looting the starting situation r-map with the actual map, so you have a geographical touchstone too.
Ohhh…. that’s nuts and sounds like great fun! Mixing the r-map with the actual map. Fun.
It needs one of those 3D modelling programs, where you can reach in and move the focus of the map, or zoom in and out at your whim.
