That was fun.

That was fun.

That was fun.  My Lurk, Luci, is based on an old character I made for a game years ago but never got to play.  She’s a little street urchin escaped from an orphanage.  Our crew has elite shadows.  They’re also street urchins.  I love it!  I snuck a crazy contraption given to us by the Redsashes into the Lampblacks’ base while our Cutter, Edger, provided a distraction.  Damn contraption is giving me nightmares now…

  1. She’s a little less straight forward than just being a street urchin.  She also has crazy dreams (was originally for a game testing the new Magic book in GURPS, she was all about dream magic).  I gave her a point of attune so I can have flashbacks along the lines of, “I had a dream that….” and roll to gather information like that.  There’s also a rat/cat/sparrow motif going on.  She hangs out with those animals a lot.  Oh, and I forgot to tell the group, but inexplicably, when cats are around both her and either rats or sparrows, the cats don’t eat the rats and sparrows.  It’s like they’re all chilling at home.  Role playing her is pretty straight forward (I think).  The main idea is that she feels close to animals, not to people.  No social skills.  I gave her a point of command so I can lead the other children.  That was a bit of a compromise of the idea of the character for the service of an awesome crew concept (not my idea).  Still unsure how she feels about the other urchins but I love having them there!
