Another scum and Villiany question. I am totally stuck on ship quality for maintenance purposes. What is the “/” for? I know it must mean two different applications or something but can find it nowhere. Also, what exactly am I adding together? So, let’s look at the stardancer on page 122. Crew quality 0/3, engines 1/4, hull 2/4 weapons 0/2. So is it 19 divided by 4 for cost of 4? Or 16 divided by 4 for a cost of four. Either way seems kind of high. Any help and/or page numbers would be appreciated.

Also…a Scum specific g+ page would be awesome!

I’ve heard 6 weeks before 8 10 12? What’s your personal experience? Our groups play different games so it needs a good solid end date.

Thank you all for your help so far. I have only one person signed up for our first session this coming Sunday. My first thought is to skip crew set up and have him start with a solo session while we get more players. I thought I could have him answer some questions….why don’t you have a crew?, what is your life like in Duskwall? What might you be looking for in a crew? Then depending on what he wants we can get into trouble from there.

These are just my first thoughts. If there were one GM and player posts sorry I missed them. I would appreciate any thoughts or ideas.

Hey all. I am planning to run a mini campaign. Eight sessions? Has anyone ran one that has drop in drop out play? That is generally how our groups work. People sign for as many or few sessions as they want. Of course, hopefully I get a good group at crew/character generation. With so much focus on the crew I just wondered how that might work out.
